眼视光技术专业是上海市唯一布点设置培养“医工复合型”眼视光技术专业人才的特色专业，主要面向卫生行业/眼镜行业，旨在培养具有扎实的医学专业知识及相关自然科学知识，有较强的医学实践和人际交流能力，有良好的职业道德和人文素养，具有创新、创业精神，融医疗、预防、保健、康复为一体，具有终身发展潜力的高端技能型专门眼视光技术人才。历年来，毕业生供不应求，受到用人单位一致好评。

Optometry Technology is the only major set up in Shanghai to train medical-industrial ophthalmic professionals, mainly for the health industry / glasses industries, and it aims to cultivate students with solid medical expertise and related scientific knowledge. When finish the course, the students are equipped with  strong medical practice , inter personal communication ability, professional ethics and humanistic literacy, they are also innovative, entrepreneurial, as they have integrate the professional capabilities of medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation as one.
